Sulaym ibn Qays al-Hilālī al-ʿĀmirī was one of the companions of Ali towards the end of the latter’s life. To my understanding, this book contains both authentic and unverifiable hadith same as Sahihs, Al-Kafi and others book. I have a copy but I wont let my countrymen read it. Currently, several variant manuscripts of this book exist, and it has been suggested that content was added to it and altered in it over time.

Yes, there are weak ahadeeth in iktab books, but it’s the first time I hear its rejected by our Scholars, especially Sheikh Al- Mufeed. He belonged to the Banu Hilal branch of the Banu ‘Amir tribe.
